Managing Member’s Profile

Christine (Tina) Flaherty, CPA

Tina has been a trusted advisor serving an array of clients and businesses from a tax and management perspective for more than 30 years in various capacity.

The breadth of her industry experience includes banking, retirement securities, audit, tax, and non-profits.  She has worked extensively with a variety of individuals and small businesses, as a member of senior and executive leadership, as well as with various Boards of Directors.

During the past 14 years Tina has served as an executive and member of senior management in the nonprofit industry where she applied the breadth of her business skills and experience to manage areas including Finance, Human Resources, Technology, and Facility operations.

Tina works extensively as a member in the Community assisting individuals with their financial needs.  She has a great deal of expertise in contract and grant management, including at the State and Federal level, payroll, accounting and billing, audit support, and financial statement reporting.

Tina is a Scarborough native and takes great pride of her ability to work with individuals and small business owners in the Community setting them up for success.

Tina achieved her higher-level education at both the University of Southern Maine and Husson College attaining both her Baccalaureate and Masters in Accounting and Business from Husson College in 1995 and 1998, respectively. She has been a licensed CPA with the State of Maine since 2000, and a notary public since 1990.

Tina is a member of the AICPA and historically served on the Governor’s Provider Advisory Group for MaineCare, and on the Board of Assessment Review for the Town of Scarborough.

Tina’s hobbies include sewing, enjoying the outdoors, and all that the wonderful State of Maine has to offer.   She founded the Pine Point Quilters Guild in 2007 to create a local chapter in Scarborough for quilting enthusiasts, providing opportunity for social activity to other members in the Scarborough Community.
